Founders
Hi! my name is Sierra.
Sierra Quitiquit is a professional skier, model, environmental activist and the founder of Plastic Free Fridays. Sierra's passion for preserving this beautiful planet stems from her intimate connection with the mountains and snow. As a professional skier, Sierra has seen firsthand the dramatic effects climate change has had on snowfall. She is committing her voice, platform and career to ensuring that snow and skiing will be around for future generations to enjoy.
"In looking at the landscape of our current climate crisis, I felt inspired to start a movement that was both an easy point of entry for people and had the potential to create a massive shift in the way people see and relate to single-use plastics. My greatest hope is that soon we will live in a world where humans understand themselves as a part of nature and not separate. And from that understanding, we can live in sustainable harmony.”
Hi! I'm Meg.
